Shingles Rash

Shingles Rash
A  burning, itching or tingling is felt in the area where the rash will form.  A few days later, a blistering rash will appear on the skin.  Typically, the rash occurs on only one side of the body.  The Shingles rash usually lasts for up to 30 days.
For most people, the pain associated with the rash lessens as it heals.

For some people, Shingles may lead to long-term pain that can last for months or even years.

If possible, treatment should begin within 72 hours from the onset of symptoms.
